Tired and angry man saves "irresponsible" wife's child
Abortionist Robert Smith traveled from Glendale
on Monday and Tuesday to profit by aborting
innocent children at the Family Planning Associates
abortion chamber in
Bakersfield.
Outside this
killing center and at
the LifeHouse
pregnancy help
center across the
street, Christians
reached out in love to
pregnant women. At least five children were saved
from death! Here are some details on how God
moved people's hearts to have mercy on their
children this week:
"Adrian" pretended not to know why his
wife was at the abortion chamber, but as
Terri* talked to him he became more and
more angry. Terri pleaded with Adrian to save his
wife and child from the abortionist, explaining
"they kill babies here!"
When Adrian shot back "you're not making
this any easier!" Terri realized that he didn't want
his young children in the car to know what was
going on.
Because of the broken English Adrian spoke,
Terri put him on the phone with Alicia*, hoping
that she might be able to get through to him in
Spanish. But he just became more angry.
Soon it became clear that the abortion was
Adrian's idea. "I'm 53 and I feel very tired,"
Adrian explained. "I've been working in the fields
since I was 17 years old! I have to get more work
to take care of my daughter, and now she's
pregnant again! She don't want to take no
responsibility, she don't want to take no pills, she
don't want to do nothing. I told her 'why don't
you operate?' because she's already abortion once
before about three years ago. I don't want to kill
a baby, but I can't take the whole responsibility
for everything!"
"I'm tired too," Terri responded. "I'm 42 and
pregnant again, with number 11. But is God in
your heart?"
"Yes," Adrian replied, indicating the local
church he attends.
"Then you need to trust God because that
baby is not her fault. God said 'I want you to
have another baby.' It's hard, but remember what
Jesus did for us? He carried the cross. God never
promised that it would be easy."
"I had a bad dream last night," Adrian
confessed as tears filled his eyes. "I know God
and I don't want to do it. I'm confused and I'm
tired.
"I'm not going to do it. I'm not that kind of
people."
As Terri gave Adrian a baby gift, Adrian hugged
Terri and cried "I love you!"
"Take care of your mama," Adrian said to Terri's daughter Amy* as he and his wife prepared to leave the killing center.
"You're a good man," Terri said to Adrian. "You have a good heart, and your baby doesn't want to die. It's hard doing the right thing, but God will bless you."
"He's going to provide for me everything I need," Adrian smiled in agreement.
"Abigail" brought her
friends "Rebecca" and
"Jezebel" with her from
Wasco for her abortion
appointment. Rebecca hoped
Abigail would decide not to go
through with the abortion.
When Terri approached Abigail, Jezebel tried to convince Abigail to ignore Terri and go inside the abortion chamber. Terri gave Abigail
a baby gift and began to show
her a video about abortion, but
when Abigail began to view the
abortion procedure, she said "I
don't want to see this," handing
the gift back and hurrying upstairs to the abortion
chamber's waiting room.
With encouragement from Terri, Rebecca went
upstairs to try to help Abigail not to go through with
the abortion. When Abigail finally decided to cancel
her appointment, Rebecca began crying uncontrollably,
relieved that Abigail's baby would not be killed. But it
appeared that Abigail's decision might not be final.
Terri told the girls about the Elizabeth League
group at St. John's church in Wasco which helps
women through difficult pregnancies. Rebecca said
that she knows Alicia, who leads this Elizabeth League
group, explaining "she was my catechism teacher."
Alicia met with Abigail today and showed her the same abortion video Terri had tried to show her outside the abortion chamber. This time, Abigail watched the whole video. She
assured Alicia that she will keep her baby now, and
asked Alicia to help her break the news to her mother.
"Jocelyn" pulled her minivan to the side of the
street and called Terri to the window. "Two
months ago I was scheduled for an abortion here,"
Jocelyn explained. "I can't believe I was even going to do
that now," she confessed as tears filled her eyes. "It upsets
me to think that I was ever here. Thank you for helping
me to change my mind." Janet also expressed appreciation
for the baby gift Terri had given her that day.

Scripture
Focus:
Malachi 4
"For behold, the day is coming,
Burning like an oven,
And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble.
And the day which is coming shall burn them up,"
Says the LORD of hosts,
"That will leave them neither root nor branch.
But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
You shall trample the wicked,
For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet
On the day that I do this,"
Says the LORD of hosts.
"Remember the Law of Moses, My servant,
Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel,
With the statutes and judgments.
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.
And he will turn
The hearts of the fathers to the children,
And the hearts of the children to their fathers,
Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse."
In the spirit of Elijah, ask God to use you today to
help prepare the way for the Lord by turning the
hearts of parents to their children.
