Sanctity of Human Life Vigil to be held Sunday, January 28
January is Sanctity of Human Life month, and with the new availability of the "RU-486" abortion pill,
it is very important to make the community aware that Christians are pro-life from the moment of
conception.
On Sunday, January 28, 2001, at 4 pm, LifeSavers Ministries, along with Bakersfield area
churches, will line up along 24th and H Streets holding signs which say "Life Begins at Conception,"
"Children are a Gift From the Lord," "Abortion Kills Babies," and "For Help Call 323-BABY."
At 5 pm, for those who can, participants will join in a candlelight prayer vigil from 25th and H
(the FPA abortion chamber) to Planned Parenthood.
Please make it a priority to attend this vigil, and
if your church hasn't heard about the Sanctity of
Human Life Vigil, please tell them about it.
