With over 30 restaurants to choose from, nobody had trouble filling their plates with mouth-watering Mexican food.

Congratulations to
Si Señor Grill,
winner of the 2006 "Comida del Cielo" award!
Si Señor Grill's Chile Rellenos were voted as the favorite entree by
attendees at the 2006 Fiesta for Life Mexican Dinner and Auction.
|
With delicious food on the menu and fantastic deals in the auction, LifeSavers Minstries' 2006 Fiesta for Life Mexican Dinner and Auction was enjoyed by over 300 people. The evening was full of surprises, including impromptu testimonies from women whose children were saved from
abortion when God used LifeSavers Ministries to reach them in their time of need.
| |
Rachel, one of our pregnant clients, tells her story at the Fiesta for Life while her supportive husband Eddie looks on.
|
| |
An impromptu appearance was made by the child living in Rachel's womb (with the help of 3-D ultrasound pictures).
|
One woman shared how several doctors had insisted that she needed to abort her
baby because of health problems affecting herself and her child, but when she decided to let her child live, God used the experience to turn her life around. Another woman explained that she had come to our LifeHouse
pregnancy help center when it was closed, but the 24-hour hotline outside our front door enabled her to receive the help she needed.
 | |
"Baibies are Precius" was the heartfelt message one of our donors used to decorate their cake at the Fiesta for Life. We appreciated their sentiments, and the cake was delicious, but their interesting spelling helped to put an extra smile on our faces.
|
Others, explaining how God enabled them to face embarrassment from their church and lack of support from the baby's father, expressed gratitude to LifeSavers and encouraged more people to help financially.
