Rally for the Children touches hearts

About 150 people attended the Rally for the Children on January 18, being enlightened by the scriptural teachings of local pastors and blessed by the variety of special music which was shared. The highlight of the rally was the song shared by 10-year-old Jordan, a child who was saved from abortion in Bakersfield.

Here are a few of the comments made by people who attended the rally:

"The rally was a great challenge - very well planned. We won't be the same"

"This event has encouraged and sparked an interest in my heart. I thank God that I may be used to make a difference in a child's life."

"This event is a long-waited solution and blessing."

"I love what you are doing. It helps me deal with pain of killing 2 of my babies... back in 1986. I still suffer."

"Thank you for coming. I think that I was going to be aborted...."

"Thank you for your faithfulness in your calling to save the unborn babies of our city. Three years ago one of my co-workers was down at the abortion center and she heard the words 'Jesus loves you and He loves your baby.' ... That message touched her heart. She raced out of there and today her little boy is two. There are others I know who have heard this message...."

"Thank you for all you do! This rally was so good and I believe God is going to bless your ministry as never before."

"Great program!"
