A young black couple with four children ages 4 months to 4 years arrived at the abortion chamber last week.  The woman went in without saying a word, leaving behind her husband and children in the car.  Terri took the opportunity to speak with the father as he waited in the car.

After he confessed to being a Christian, Terri asked him a series of questions:

• "Who creates life?"
• "Who created your baby?"
• "Does God make mistakes?"

With his own mouth he admitted that God knew what was going on when He created the baby in his wife’s womb and He planned it.

Terri also talked to him about how his job is to protect his family.  "What would you do if CPS tried to take away your other children," she asked, "wouldn’t you fight for them?   You need to fight for this baby too!"

After Terri said this, he quickly hurried up the stairs into the abortion business’ waiting room.  Soon he emerged from the waiting room, bringing his wife out so that their baby would not be killed.

Later Terri learned that this couple has been fighting attempts from Child Protective Services to take their children away.

"This was the first time I had asked someone whether they would fight CPS for their children," Terri later explained.  She had no way of knowing that this couple had been dealing with CPS.  God had given her exactly the right words this father needed to hear so that he would have the courage to save his child from a violent abortion death.

"A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold In settings of silver" (Proverbs 25:11).
