“God saved my daughter” from the abortion pill!

Early on a Sunday morning last September, we received an urgent message from Elisa, a mother in Newark NJ who had taken the RU486 (mifepristone) abortion pill but now wanted to save her baby.
We just received another message from Elisa informing us that “with all your blessings and prayers I proudly delivered my first baby girl after 7 boys Monday April 19.” Elisa went on to tell us that she named her baby Emily and she “is perfect in every way!”
When Elisa had first contacted us in September, we located Dr. Jean Golden-Tevald (with the help of Dr. George Delgado), who administered progesterone injections for two weeks and then provided Elisa with progesterone pills for the next 8-10 weeks. Although a majority of Bakersfield’s City Council members have stated privately that they oppose the new 30 minute zone outside Bakersfield’s FPA abortion center, any action to reverse these restrictions seems at this point to be unlikely unless there continues to be a significant public outcry.
